Rigoberto Vargas, a 39-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on June 11, 2019, in front of his apartment in southwest Houston, Texas. Vargas, who was of Hispanic ethnicity, was ambushed by an unknown assailant as he arrived home from work. His 7-year-old daughter witnessed the horrifying incident as she opened the door to greet her father.
