Jamie Demond Mason Jr., a 21-year-old aspiring rapper from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2019. Mason was shot while attempting to break up a fight over a woman outside a gas station on North Wayside and the North Loop. He succumbed to his injuries two days later.
