Mary Granados, a 29-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically killed on August 31, 2019, in Midland, Texas. She was a dedicated mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, working in Odessa, Texas. On that fateful day, Mary was alone in her postal vehicle when a gunman hijacked her truck during a mass shooting spree that began with a routine traffic stop. The shooter, identified as Seth Ator, had initially opened fire on police officers before stealing Granados' vehicle and continuing his rampage.
