Paul Orneliues Wright, a 29-year-old African American man, tragically died on October 27, 2019, in DeSoto, Texas. Wright was shot in the chest by his common-law wife, Tamara Lafrance, 40, at their home in the 700 block of Peggs Street. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute, and Wright was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital.
