Allen Foster, a 58-year-old man from Fort Worth, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on November 5, 2019. Foster was found unconscious in the 2500 block of Bomar Avenue in east Fort Worth, having suffered a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital. His car, a silver Chevy Malibu, was stolen during the incident and was later used in a triple shooting in Burleson the following day.
The investigation into Foster's death involved multiple law enforcement
agencies, including Fort Worth police, Burleson police, the Johnson County STOP Task Force, and the Texas Rangers. Henry Anthony McKinney, a 30-year-old man, was arrested and charged with Foster's murder, as well as several other charges related to the shootings. McKinney faced charges of attempted capital murder, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and capital murder. His bail was set at $1,850,000.
The case highlighted the collaborative efforts of various law enforcement agencies to address and solve violent crimes in the area. McKinney's arrest was a significant step in bringing justice for Allen Foster and the other victims of the related shootings.
