On July 23, 2014, Adrian Reed, age 43, was tragically shot and killed while in his vehicle in Kansas City, Missouri. Reed was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Bannister Road and James A. Reed Road around 9:00 p.m. when a suspect in a dark-colored SUV pulled up next to his car. The suspect fired multiple shots into Reed's vehicle before fleeing the scene. Despite efforts by law enforcement to identify those responsible, the case remains unsolved.
