Vanessa Olivette Mujica, a 22-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on January 15, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas. She was found fatally shot in the chest in the yard near the 800 block of Olmos Drive. Police received a 911 call about an injured person at around 9:30 p.m. that night, and upon arrival, they discovered Mujica in the front passenger side of a car parked in the driveway. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.

The investigation into Vanessa's death revealed that she and her friend, Kyle Warren, had driven to a McDonald's parking lot on the Northwest Side of San Antonio to meet someone to buy narcotics. The meeting was arranged through the suspect's Snapchat account, which went by the username "certifiedplug" and the alias "Ace Money". During the encounter, an argument broke out, and the suspect shot both Mujica and Warren to death before fleeing the scene in a dark-colored four-door Acura TL.

Despite extensive efforts by the San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers, no arrests have been made in connection with Vanessa's murder. Investigators believe that someone in a second vehicle, which arrived before the shooting, may have information about the suspect's identity. The case remains open, and authorities continue to seek tips and information from the public to solve this double homicide.

The loss of Vanessa Olivette Mujica has left a lasting impact on her family, friends, and the community. Her memory lives on through the love and support of those who knew her, and the hope remains that justice will be served for her and Kyle Warren.
