Jarret Everett Porter, a 31-year-old man from Houston, Texas, tragically died on March 1, 2020. He was shot and killed by a security guard at the Divas nightclub located on the East Freeway in Houston. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when Porter attempted to physically stop an individual, Demarcus Williams, who had entered the club armed with a rifle.
