Eric Blocka Gentry, a 35-year-old male from Texarkana, Arkansas, tragically died on March 19, 2020, from multiple gunshot wounds sustained during an altercation at the Rosehill Ridge Apartments in Texarkana, Texas. The incident occurred inside an apartment where Gentry was shot by Kavante Wright, 26, of Texarkana, Texas. Officers responded to the scene and arrested Wright a few minutes later without incident. Wright was charged with murder and booked into the Bi-State Jail.
