Ty’Len Jamon Bell, a 14-year-old African American boy from Deep Ellum, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 28, 2020. He was out with friends late at night when a shooting occurred in the area, resulting in multiple casualties. Ty’Len suffered a gunshot wound to the head and succumbed to his injuries a few days later. The incident took place despite the presence of extra police officers in the area, and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
