Aareon Johnson, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in Deep Ellum, Texas, on September 3, 2022. The incident occurred in the early morning hours near the intersection of Malcolm X Boulevard and Clover Street. Aareon and his friend were alerted by a car alarm and discovered a man burglarizing their vehicle.
