Markie McGinnis, a 29-year-old woman from Liberty, Texas, was tragically found shot to death in her car on October 4, 2020. McGinnis, who was a devout member and worship leader at Relate Community Church, had just led a worship service earlier that morning. Her body was discovered by a passing motorist on FM 2830 in Raywood, Texas, less than half a mile from her parents' home. She had been shot multiple times through the driver's side window of her car.
