Jaron Singleton, a 23-year-old security guard, was tragically shot and killed on April 17, 2015, while waiting at a bus stop in north St. Louis. The incident took place at the intersection of North Newstead and Lee Avenue, where Jaron was dressed in his work uniform. Although he was not on duty at the time, he was in full uniform, and his service revolver was missing from its holster when officers arrived.
