Isaiah DeWayne Lawson, a 20-year-old African American male from Longview, Texas, tragically died on November 19, 2020, from gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on the evening of November 18, 2020, when Lawson was found shot in the area of 15th Street and Young Street, near Broughton Park. The Longview Police Department responded to the scene and pronounced him dead at the location.
