Eric Dawayne Williams

In the early morning hours of May 28, 2015, the life of 23-year-old Eric Dawayne Williams, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of St. Louis, Missouri. The city was in the grip of a violent year, and Williams became another victim in a string of homicides that plagued the community. Responding to the sound of gunfire in a residential neighborhood, police discovered Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
