Mark Valdez, a 13-year-old boy from San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2021. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. on a Friday evening when more than ten rounds of bullets were fired at his house located in the 500 block of W Vestal Place on the city's south side. Mark was lying in bed when he was struck in the head by one of the bullets. He was immediately taken to University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
