Samanta Isabel Zapon, a 19-year-old Hispanic female from Houston, Texas, tragically died on January 4, 2021. She was found dead from a gunshot wound to the chest in her car, which was parked behind the AMC Studio 30 movie theater complex in west Houston. The discovery was made after her family and friends reported her missing earlier that day. The Houston Police Department responded to the report and found her body. The case quickly turned into a homicide investigation.
