Yolanda Annette Royston, a 47-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on March 11, 2021, in Richmond, Texas. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing, as it was revealed that she was shot and killed by her own son, Herald Monono, who was 19 years old at the time.
