Death by Force

Uvante Aujshemaon Douglas, a 20-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on April 8, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. He was the victim of an early morning shooting at a local bar called Guitars and Cadillacs on Olsen Boulevard. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m., when Uvante and another 19-year-old male were both shot. Both victims were taken to a hospital, where Uvante succumbed to his injuries, while the 19-year-old survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
