In the early morning hours of August 3, 2015, the life of 56-year-old Ronald S. Perkins, a Black male, was tragically cut short in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The serenity of the morning was shattered by the sound of gunfire, drawing the attention of local authorities. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Perkins suffering from gunshot wounds.
