Kameron Dashun Tanksley, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 28, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was shot in the head and found with multiple gunshot wounds on the second-floor breezeway of an apartment complex on the 2700 block of Weiler Boulevard. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The investigation into his death is ongoing, and the gunman remains unknown and has not been arrested.
