Samuel Aron Sammy Loyola, an 18-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically passed away on July 1, 2021, in Carrollton, Texas. Samuel was born on August 26, 2002, in Fort Worth, Texas, and was a beloved son to Daniel and Fehilyn Loyola, as well as a brother to nine siblings.
On the day of his death, Samuel was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a breezeway at an apartment complex on Metrocrest Drive in Carrollton.
He was quickly transported to a hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., following a heated dispute between Samuel and Eric Martinez, a 20-year-old man from Farmers Branch.

Initially, Martinez was arrested on unrelated charges at his apartment in Farmers Branch, but detectives later secured a warrant and charged him with murder in connection to Samuel's death.
