Ajay Stewart, a 21-year-old black man, was fatally shot Friday, July 20, near Anaheim Street and Ohio Avenue in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Two groups of men were near the intersection when they became involved in an altercation about 7:30 p.m., according to a Long Beach Police Department news release.
