On the night of November 30, 2015, in the late hours just before midnight, police in St. Louis, Missouri, were called to a scene in the College Hill neighborhood. There, in an alley near the 4000 block of North Grand Boulevard, officers discovered the body of 24-year-old Black male Lamar Heath-Thompson.
