Joseph Scott, a 29-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was fatally shot on January 10, 2023, in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. near his home in the 1400 block of Belt Avenue. Officers in the vicinity heard a gunshot and witnessed Scott collapse in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
