Paula Ayala, a 50-year-old Hispanic woman from Angleton, Texas, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2021. She was murdered in her home along with her common-law husband, Ron Thomas, who was 71 years old. The couple was shot to death by an intruder who entered their home while children were playing outside on Halloween. The suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall man wearing an all-black and yellow face mask, fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV with chrome accessories.
