On February 12, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred at Thermal Polymer, an industrial facility in Angleton, Texas, resulting in the deaths of 66-year-old Darla Kay Murrell and her 37-year-old son, Devin Chase Murrell. Both victims were airlifted to a Houston hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
