On December 11, 2021, 26-year-old Aaron Huck was fatally shot in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Buckskin Run Street around 4:44 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Aaron Huck, a 26-year-old male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
Following the shooting, Fort Worth police identified 49-year-old Arthur Vasquez as the primary suspect.
A pursuit ensued on the southbound lanes of Interstate 35W near Heritage Trace Parkway. The chase concluded when Vasquez's vehicle came to a stop, and he reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene. No officers discharged their weapons during the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
As of now, there have been no further arrests related to the case, and no other suspects are being sought. The Fort Worth Police Department has not released additional details regarding the motive behind the shooting or the relationship between Aaron Huck and Arthur Vasquez. The investigation remains closed following the death of the identified suspect.
