On January 21, 2022, Anthony Maynard, a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot in his apartment in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. when Maynard and his roommate, Jalyce Simone Richardson, a 27-year-old woman, got into an argument about living arrangements.
