In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in St. Louis, tragedy struck the life of 23-year-old Chelvon Dontrell Thomas. On April 19, 2016, police were called to a residence in the 4700 block of McMillan Avenue, where they discovered a grim scene. Thomas, a young man in the prime of his life, had been fatally shot inside the home.
