Kerstin Marie Taylor, a 56-year-old woman experiencing homelessness, tragically lost her life on March 13, 2022, in Bexar County, Texas. The incident occurred at the residence of Michael Dines, a 52-year-old man who invited Taylor to his home. Dines left to buy groceries and wine, leaving Taylor alone. Upon his return, Dines mistakenly believed Taylor was a man and shot her, killing her instantly. He later admitted to the murder, claiming he felt justified in his actions.
