Cameron Ray, a 20-year-old African American male from Athens, Texas, was fatally shot on March 18, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Ray was celebrating a friend's birthday at a Dallas bar when a fight broke out between his friends and another group. Surveillance footage shows that shots were fired from a black SUV towards Ray and his friends as they walked to their vehicle. Ray was taken to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
