On March 28, 2022, three-year-old Jalexus Washington Jr., a young African American boy from Dallas, Texas, tragically died from a gunshot wound to the face. He was taken to the emergency room at Medical City Dallas by his mother, Lacravivonne Washington, who claimed that he had been shot during a road rage incident.
