In the quiet community of Bucksport, South Carolina, a grim discovery was made on February 14, 2020. Matthew Frazier, a 29-year-old man from the nearby town of Latta, was found deceased in a residence on Bucksport Road. The scene that greeted Horry County police officers was unsettling; Frazier was found covered in blood, having been dead for some time. The initial death investigation quickly turned into a homicide case as it was determined that Frazier had died from a gunshot wound.
