Jerrold Deshane Maze Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2022, in Marshall, Texas. Maze was fatally shot while riding in the passenger seat of a car in the 600 block of Holland Street. The vehicle was struck by multiple bullets, and Maze sustained several gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall by a private vehicle, Maze succumbed to his injuries.
