Matthew Thomas Stuart, a 41-year-old man from Arlington, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 11, 2022, during a home invasion. The incident occurred around midnight on the 5300 block of Ivy Hill Drive in Arlington. According to police reports, an unidentified suspect forced entry into the home and began shooting at the occupants. Matthew Thomas Stuart and George Robert Nitsche, 84, were both shot and killed at the scene. A 67-year-old woman was also injured but survived the attack.
