Jim Darrell Brown, a 56-year-old African American male from La Marque, Texas, tragically passed away on April 7, 2022, from injuries sustained in a drive-by shooting near La Marque Middle School. Jim was known for his caring nature and was self-employed as a car detailer. He is survived by his mother, Bernice E. Brown, Jr., his son Clarence Batts, and three grandchildren.
