Kentoria Nicole Edwards, a 52-year-old African American woman from Richardson, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2022. She was fatally shot outside a Starbucks in Richardson during a custody dispute involving her granddaughter. Edwards had full custody of her 3-year-old great-granddaughter, and the incident occurred when she agreed to meet with the child's mother, Tranisa Octavin Trana Watts, 23, at the coffee shop.
