Erica Larracuente, a 26-year-old woman, was found dead in her apartment at the Windrush Apartments in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 14, 2022. Alongside her was Micaela Sudell, a 24-year-old woman. Both women had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The discovery was made after Corpus Christi Police Department officers were called to perform a welfare check. When no one answered the door, maintenance staff let the police into the apartment, where they found the bodies of the two women.
