Jose Manuel Flores Jr., a 10-year-old Latino boy, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2022, during the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. The incident, which claimed the lives of 19 children and 2 teachers, is considered one of the deadliest school shootings in Texas history. Jose was known for his helpful nature around the house and his love for baseball and video games. On the day of the shooting, he was proudly holding a certificate for making the honor roll.
