Amerie Jo Garza, a 10-year-old girl from Uvalde, Texas, tragically lost her life on May 24, 2022, during the Robb Elementary School shooting. She was one of the 21 victims, including 19 students and two teachers, who were killed in this devastating incident. Amerie Jo was remembered as a kind, caring, and loving child who had a heart of gold. She was a doting sister to her younger brother, Zayne, and had dreams of becoming an art teacher.
