Eva Mireles, a 44-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on May 24, 2022, during the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Eva was a dedicated fourth-grade teacher who heroically sacrificed herself to protect her students from the gunman.
