Willie Najera, a 28-year-old Hispanic man, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred at Dave & Buster's restaurant located at 9450 North Central Expressway, near Walnut Hill Lane. According to police reports, Najera was involved in a physical altercation with another man, which escalated when the other man pulled out a gun and shot him.
Najera was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect involved in the shooting fled the scene, and as of now, no arrests have been made. The Dallas Police Department has been actively investigating the case, reviewing security camera footage and seeking information from the public. Detective Patty Belew has been leading the investigation and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
The case remains open, and the police are still searching for the person of interest, described as a Black male wearing a white shirt and having dreadlocks.
