On July 16, 2016, 37-year-old Patrick Wilhite was killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident took place at the intersection of North Spring Avenue and Sullivan Avenue. Patrick and a 24-year-old woman were both shot in the neck after they went to meet an individual. The suspect, Brandon Harris, was charged not only with Patrick's death but also with three other homicides. Harris eventually pled guilty to multiple charges and received six life terms in prison.
