Shyene Levene Holden, a 32-year-old woman of African American ethnicity from Port Arthur, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 18, 2022. She was fatally shot at the French Connection nightclub in Port Arthur early Sunday morning. Holden was taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where she succumbed to her injuries. Another individual was injured during the shooting but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
