Kay Marie Scarlett, a 68-year-old woman of Caucasian ethnicity, was found shot to death in her Joshua, Texas home on October 6, 2022. Her husband, 66-year-old Mike Scarlett, was also found dead at the scene. The couple's bodies were discovered by deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office who responded to a call from a family member who had not been able to reach them. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office ruled their deaths as homicides.
