Pete Solis, a 48-year-old man from Corpus Christi, Texas, tragically died on October 7, 2022, from a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at the 900 block of South Staples Street. According to the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office, Solis succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The police believe that the shooting was not a random act of violence and that the people involved knew each other.
