Auxiliary Deputy Ronnal Ralph Stanley, age 24, of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee, tragically lost his life on August 31, 1983. Deputy Stanley was shot and killed during a foot pursuit through a wooded area near Butler, Tennessee.
