Peggy Cox, a 49-year-old woman from Franklin, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on February 1, 1991, while working at a Hardee's restaurant. She was shot through the drive-thru window by an unknown assailant, who then fled the scene in a light-colored Nissan Sentra with a personalized license plate. Peggy's death occurred on her 49th birthday, and she was found by her son, who was working alongside her at the time.
