Sergeant Ricky Dale Coyle, aged 41, was a dedicated officer with the Greene County Sheriff's Department in Tennessee. On September 25, 1995, while investigating a hit-and-run incident in a remote area of Greeneville, Sergeant Coyle was shot and killed.
